Body coat: Predominant body colour is fawn but red fawn color is also found

Muzzle: Pointed

Average body weight:  Calves Male 35-40 kg, female 31-37 kg; Adult males - 322 kg, females - 343 kg

Heart girth: Male - 173 cm, female - 169.50 cm

Height at withers: Male - 169.50 cm, female - 167.30 cm

Neck length: Male - 98 cm, female - 96 cm

Reproductive traits

Age at maturity: Male- 4 years, females 3 years

Gestation length: 375-386 days

Calving interval: 2-3 years

Production traits

Daily milk yield: 6-7 kg per day

Lactation length: 9-11 months

Wool production: 2.5 kg per annum

Remarks: These camels are well adaptability to coastal ecology, able to drink brackish water and rely on highly saltiest vegetation.
