World Veterinary Day 2015

World Veterinary Day 2015 at Glance at Kurukshetra, Haryana (India)
The ‘World Veterinary Day’ 2015 was celebrated at Kurukshetra jointly by Kurukshetra Veterinary Association and Carus Lab Pvt. Ltd. with ‘theme’ of the year ‘Vector Borne Diseases with Zoonotic Potential’.
Honour of Flowers to visitors by Carus Lab. Pvt. Ltd.: Each visitor was honoured by presenting a small buckey of flowers.
Honour of Garlands: The veterinarians were honoured with garlands and flowers.
Inauguration of the event by Chief Guest: – Dr. Satyabir Singh along with Dr. J.N. Sharma, Sub Divisional officer and Dr. Ashok Sharma, Semen Bank Officer, Pehowa of district Kurukshestra, Haryana (India) inaugurated the event by lightening the lamp.
Massage from Chief Guest: The vector borne (zoonotic) diseases are on hike in the society. A joint co-operation and co-ordination of veterinarians and physicians can do a lot to control or prevent such diseases.
Technical session: A technical session was also conducted in the event to elaborate the importance of ‘Vecvtor-Borne Diseases with a Zoonotic Potential’.
